Vlaamse Shania Twain Blog

Een sprankelende Shania Twain is opgemerkt in Toronto waar ze aan het shopping was. Vrienden van de countryster zeggen dat Shania haar scheiding goed aan het verwerken is, door hard te werken. Het motto van de sterke vrouw is immers "Life has to continue”. Een andere born zegt: "There's still a lot of recovery to come but she's using the help of her friends and family. On a scale of one to 10, she is certainly not there yet but she is progressing." Haar zoon Eja D’Angelo wordt dinsdag 7 jaar. Shania Twain ging dineren in Toronto's Kit Kat Bar and Grill. De eigenaar zei "She looked fantastic. She came in wearing these great shorts, sandals and a really pretty sweater. She was just gorgeous, and her mood was very bubbly."

Shania was niet aanwezig in Calgary waar de uitreiking van "Canadian Country Music Awards" door ging. Toch won ze er de trofee "Top Selling Album of the Year" voor haar laatste album "Greatest Hits". Het is reeds haar 25ste trofee op de "Canadian Country Music Awards" sinds haar eerste in 1995, jawel 10 jaar terug!

Op 30 juni 2001 werd het Shania Twain Centre officieel geopend. Het bevindt zich op Timmins Underground Gold Mine Tour site. Timmins is het Canadese stadje in de provincie Ontario waar Shania opgroeide. Het project heeft 11 miljoen dollar gekost en herbergt alle soorten memorabilia (kleding, trofeeën) die Shania wegschonk.
